Idea's needed guys.

Let's make a "how to" or "show me your dashboard" tread.

I'm a bit out of idea's regarding how to make a tidy solution on the gear lever and handbrake "boots" where they mount to the pear panel. In my case it will be a fiber panel, and not the vinyl one as original. But I assume that some of you have wood panels, and have faced the same problem.

Currently do I consider to make an polished alu frame around the holes (picture to come)

Another thing is dashboard layout, specially with the need of 9 indicator lights (high beam, left+right indicator, 3 for shift light, oil presure warning, charge warning, ECU warning)

some pics, the temporary layout, that is a bit too tight behind the steering wheel

as you like alloy parts and have so many lights make up a nice thick panel fit warning sines behind so you can Identify them ??? On the hand brake etc good luck never seen one that works really works well. But you will properly need bigger holes to stop cover ripping , or just fit an electric one ?

Finally something i know a little about wink
I am sure that you have seen this before
All my panels are wood veneer on alloy except the gear leaver panel which is veneer on marine ply there is no reason why you cant do carbon sandwiched on ply if you then paint the edge of the ply the same colour as the carbon finish before fitting the gator that would be neat
