Half shaft rubber boots. Been a wile since I done anything rear end. Rubber boots are shot and need replacing. Getting new ones in the morning. Difficult job? Best way to replace them?
Cheers.

As far as I know, the drive shafts are all Triumph based, and use Triumph rubber boots and seals.
What I don't know is whether they are all the same boot and size.

There are definitely different UJ sizes for Vixen to Tuscan V6 etc, so perhaps different boots to match

Anyway, I think the Vixen ones are derived from Triumph 2000 saloon, if that's any help.
Boots are simply held with cable ties (one mine at least - I assume that's correct)

The shafts are splined, so once off the car, make sure boot is loose, and shaft should simply pull apart into its
two parts. Clean and regrease liberally for reassembly.

The shafts on mine have a wider 'key' spline so they only go back together one way.

One the basis yours is a 2500, it's probably got a TR6 diff, which is basically same as 2000 Saloon diff....
