Below is a link to scans of my 1975 M Owner's Manual, and also a 1976 M Owners' Manual. The scans were done with the pages unbound, so that re-printing could be done with ease. Note: there are cleaned up versions of the covers in the respective folders.

I will add the inside of the '75, when I get a round tuit.

Best,
B.

I have the M series parts manual scanned if it's interesting to folks. It covers 1600M, 2500M, 3000M, Taimar, Turbo and "convertible". It's 220+ pages and 190mb so if it's useful to upload, pointers to somewhere to host it would be appreciated biggrin

Is this useful or old hat?

cheers
Nick

You could get a free Dropbox account.

Done.

I stuck it in a new thread so it's more easily located thru Search.

Without sounding like an ungrateful fart...this is all great, but a bit haphazard and fiddily.

Looking forward for future owners and for the benifit of the marque & club could we have scans of ALL the owner's handbooks?

The TVRCC site says its should have them all - as far as I can see it doesn't. Could we collate them all and then send them to them?

I have a professional scanner for work (as I'm sure a few of you will) if you're happy to send me the handbooks I'll get them scanned in over December and January.

Hi James

That's the beauty of somewhere like PH. Very "organic" laugh but equally I can see that having a full set, available to all, would be a good idea.

Unfortunately I no longer have the original manual as a TVR enthusiast in the USA persuaded me to part with it. I'm happy to send you an archive with all the pages in if you like, or to get a copy to someone in TVRCC if you point me in the right direction.

cheers
Nick

Hi Adrian

Sorry, missed your post. That one's really neat - someone spent time organising it rather than just throwing it at the wall and seeing if it stuck like I did ;-)

cheers
Nick

Indulge me, if you don't mind. Please define what you mean by "professional" scanner, and tell me how the scans differ from their non-professional counterpart. If you tell me those look amateurish, I won't take you seriously. My sense is, that if the colour and output settings are correct, and you scan at 300dpi, or better, the resulting print will be fine. Some of the pages would, no doubt benefit from a little cleanup in photoshop, but I will leave that to those who are so inclined.

I have no desire to mail my OM anywhere.

Feel free to use what I have uploaded as you see fit. I claim no copyright. As I am not currently a member of the club, I nether know what they have made available, nor do I suspect I will find out, anytime, soon.

I am merely interested in helping out my on-line community. If you would like to take that effort to the next level, please know that I would encourage it.

Best,
B.
