Vixen Parts Help
Discussion
Just been sent a list of bits from the person putting my Vixen back together again and not being all that mechanically minded, could somebody let me know where the bits come from so I can get onto either Rimmer Bros, Moss or Burtons etc. so I can get them ordered and delivered by mid-next week.
Obviously I've looked through the parts list, but it's still left me scratching my head to what I need and where to get it.
Here is what he sent me:
Front wishbone Poly bushes
Front & rear wheel bearings
Front discs/pads & fitting kit
Braided flexi brake hose kit
2 Track Rod Ends
Steering Rack mounts
Front Trunions & thrust washers
Front caliper repair kit
Steering column
Engine mounts
Gerarbox Mounts
Gearbox cross member
Pair handbrake cables
Diff mounts
Rear brake shoes
Wheel cylinder & fitting kit
Rear wishbone poly bushes
Propshaft? Could still be sitting in the garage
After the amount of grief I've had over the past two and a half years, I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel for getting this Vixen back on the road.
Thanks in advance.

Brian, the quick and easy route is to call Adrian at Exactly. He just supplied me with most of the parts you're needing without me having to do the leg work. And the extra bits that often are forgotten were included. Obviously I've looked through the parts list, but it's still left me scratching my head to what I need and where to get it.

The poly bushes you can get from SuperFlex.co.uk. They list kits for the Vixen front & rear wishbones, steering rack, ARB & trunnions etc. I've done the whole car and everything came right quantity and right size.
Brian - go through the list with TRGB. All the hub and braking and diff stuff is TR6/Triumph so go to TRGB they are nearest. Anything they are unsure of take the old ones and Gary and the other lads will help out. The propshaft is a sod you'll need a new one from Bailey Morris - pop over and measure mine and they'll make it for you, mine was about £300 ish.
