by the first picture I thought, ow nice...
but it still needs a lot of work.

I saw also that, TVR Grantura Mk 2A,Shell and Chassis Plate,

needs even more work and parts, but also less money biggrin

According to my (incomplete) database of chassis numbers, a car registered as 'SPM 434' did indeed start life as a Mk2 with a Coventry Climax engine. Chassis is 7/C/2XX format. Was in the ownership of a Mr Rose during the late 1980s.

But, goodness knows what has happened to it in the last 55 years.

Hello

My partner recently bought SPM 434 and we are in the middle of restoring it. Does anyone have any other pictures of it that they are willing to share? GTRene I notice in an earlier post you said you might have some...?
Would really love to see them if there are ... would help with the rebuild.. :-)

Thanks

What pictures do you seek, I have those from when it was on sale to be restored, but I guess you have those?

and some old picture with that plate, this one>>

but also strangly enough, also 12 pictures around a more restored car with that plate number?

Those last 2 pictures are how it currently is and was when we bought it a few months ago. And yes I've seen that black and white one before doesn't it look great there. We are really trying to figure out what it used to look like when it came off the production line and what the interior was like. But I am compiling a scrap book of pictures of it to go with its history and restoration. Apparently it left the production line as a red car, then was painted brown, then silver and now grey. Anything you have so we can trace its history fully would be much appreciated! Thanks.

ah, that explains it :-)

I do not have those early pictures, at least not with with such plate number to see in pictures.

maybe it also was used for racing or other auto sports in the early days?
maybe that helps finding pictures?
