Taimar/3000M manifolds
Discussion
have these made on the car, they may look a little complicated to some, but I`m sure once they are off it will be easier to see.
front 2 pipes on each bank are fixed separately to the others, the pipe going through the chassis triangle behind the back of the wheelarch then gives more room for the other 2 pipes on each bank to fit nicely, offside are removed from under the car, on the nearside the manifold is fitted from above, the bottom part of the headers are fitted from below, and connected via v clamps and a bolted flanged joint on pipe 4, this is to allow access to the starter motor by removing the bottom section without disturbing the manifold above.
bolted flange joint behind merge collector, with short stub pipe sliding into existing exhaust pipe to silencer, unbolting the flange joint allowing you to remove manifolds without removing the ret of the cars exhaust system.
