Just because you can - doesn't mean you should!

"Holy fking st thats cool as balls" - someone else replied in the other forum. Why can't we emulate that here?

Personally I think it's great. In-period these things were modified by their owners, why not do the same now? The car is their's not ours.

I do have sympathy with the purists, but sometimes its just cool to see what others can do; loads of cars are going OE Spec, nice for a change.

Yep, agree its his to do whatever he wants. Personally I preferred the way that it looked before he started. not sure a pick-nic table on the back of a Vixen is a mod I would lust after.

IMO when you mod a car to this extent you are in danger of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I am definitely not as cool as f*ck - just an old f*rt. But hey its a forum and we are all entitled to a view. Just glad I don't have to park it!

Taste is a very personal thing. Some folk have it, some don't.

Sooner folk confiscate cars from folk like this the better, all IMO of course. wink

I agree the wing is extreme - but so was a V8 in a Grantura...

I know it is his car but if you do all this why not by the "American dream" (corvette) and rape that to ever extend you want.

Very Very Sad. That looks like it started as a very nice clean car.

Why not make a complete custom car at this point. Why destroy a low production car when its in such good shape.

Its really to bad.

We'll no body can say I'm in to totally standerd cars but this did look a nice straight car now it looks like a compleat mess and fitting that engine into a rusty old chassis ,that has got to be be far to week to take the toque it's going to have it's not clever any one can fit a big engine but in my view it's a large step too far and will in fact make more of a widow maker than a race car. Why would anyone on this TVR classic forum applaud wrecking what was a nice looking original car. This feels like a wind up...? Marc
