I can confirm, my car is 100% original and it has a TVR badge on the left rear and a Vixen badge on the right (white 2500 under the Vixen badge there is also a 2500 on the rockers on the side of the car). My badges have aged very poorly, the green is extremely dark now and you can barely see the lettering. I would love to get new ones but they almost seem to be the wrong color green (much too bright).

That's really helpful. Thanks for those responses. So I DO need a Vixen badge as well as green TVR badges. Any deals about who might have some...?

I know Adrian Venn had them in stock a few months ago as I bought a set. Of course I may get shot down in flames for saying this as obviously you should try to make them yourself. After all that is the main thing about owning a classic car... Best

Assuming you have an American market car you do, see OliverB's comment. I think he is right, 2500 Vixens were marketed as just TVR 2500 in the UK so weren't badged as Vixens but, having said that, it's your car, you have it as you want it (and I mean this in a positive sense!!)Best

Yes I am in the US. If you do a Google search for "TVR Vixen 2500 Walkaround" you can see a video someone took of my car at a show (silver car with a 45 on it). Car has original paint and badges (badges have darkened badly. Do not mind the child seat or the after market wheels.
I would love to find good quality replacement badges as well.

So you're the lucky chap who bought '45' last year - congrats. It's a stunning looking Vixen. I would love to find good quality replacement badges as well.
Sorry if my last post confused - but I'm pretty sure badges are still available from adrian@exactly-TVR.demon.co.uk. I purchased a full set a few months ago. They are not enamel as I don't think they were originally.
Just for completeness, this is how my Dad's Tuscan V6 came out of the factory.
The badge on the left was the TVR badge, with the V6 badge on the right. It has never had a Tuscan badge fitted.
Here's a photo of the car taken in 1971.
And here is a photo of a new Vixen taken outside the factory in 1970 just before the move to Bristol Av.
Given the TVR sticker on the door, I guess it was the demonstrator. I'm the little lad in the Ventora.

I've seen your car on YouTube before - nice to meet the owner! I can see from that, that the 2500s on the sides of the car are stickers. As your car is original I guess that's how the factory did it? I have some of those stickers but was hesitating to put them on in case the factory actually stencilled those numbers on (or painted them). Anyone have any other observations about that?Cheers
