Yes but no lol
It had more straps on it than you could imagine, the car was secured by straps on the wheels correctly. the ones you see over the body just there to keep doors shut and stop any of the flat packages flying out of the car, they were loose.
Looks like you have your work cut out quite a project was she registered as an 1800s or a MK1 Vixen Originally It had more straps on it than you could imagine, the car was secured by straps on the wheels correctly. the ones you see over the body just there to keep doors shut and stop any of the flat packages flying out of the car, they were loose.
Andrew
It was registered as a mk IV but like many TVR's has been subject to modifications.
Apparently it has race history and i will be doing all i can to find out all i can.
I have original chassis and also the griffith spec chassis it is sitting on now.
Not sure what spec i am going to rebuild car to yet, just happy it is mine and will be doing plenty of research prior to choosing what i will rebuild car to. Fancy building to some track specification as i have now stopped racing motorbikes and fancy a little classic car fun.

It'll get a lot more invites as a MkV 1800S than a Griffy!.. That said It is your project to enjoy as you see fit..The diff top looks very workman like and I hope it is bushed at those 3 points…Apparently it has race history and i will be doing all i can to find out all i can.

be good to see some chassis shots when you get it all home and in to its pieces. I am assuming that your car has already been body off modified, since it would have been bonded originally.
If you post your block casting numbers I may be able to tell you some engine history.. They are on the lower surface of the block near the engine mounting boss on the RHS of the engine where the starter motor usually is mounted.

Still not made mind up on what it will be when finished.
I will be popping up at few race events I can get to to see what's what and if i can catch the bug
