Shame
We will expect you next year as your restoration when done could teach us all a lot when it comes to a period restoration she will be fantastic from the pictures I have seen so far hope you have the Fuel tank all sorted and on its way

Doesn't stop you going in a different car and having a good day out with like minded folks. First 2 Pre 80s I attended was in a van :-)

Looks like I'm going to resort to "the other car" for this weekend, been away for a few weeks and the Vixen doesn't want to play! Geoff

This year it is the location for the annual Pre 80s Gathering of TVRs
Gaydon is the Largest Museum dedicated to British Made motor cars so is a fitting location to hold the event in the TVRCCs 50th year

A very enjoyable afternoon for me & my sometimes erratic white/ brown 3000M which behaved perfectly from Nottingham & back. The latter journey aided by being an East Midlands convoy of gary, novelette, alan and myself. Sorry I wimped out overtaking wise on the M1 leg but the temp gauge was virtually battering to get into the next dial....needless to say when got home engine was merely warm and no water leaks!

Glad you got back ok Chris. Was glad of your sensible pace, otherwise might have had to try and keep up with that Alfa engined 3000S wink

Many thanks to Geoff, Andrew and everyone involved in making today so good, even the weather. Great to catch up and the day always disappears so fast.

Thanks too for allowing us to join the Opal Fruit convoy this morning! Started the day off feeling very 70s!

it was a great day from start to end.I was the tail gunner of the opel fruit convoy so possibly had the best view.at one point a eurobox got between me and the rest of the group but he pulled over and waved me by.not sure that was out of respect for the TVRs or because he was dazzled by the orange taimar in front and the yellow 3000s behind.look forward to next year
