Hi Cliff
Looking forward to seeing the car progress as others have said its in the Right place and I am sure Trim Unique will do it proud once it goes there if you decide to use Lee.
Here are a few pictures to give you some thing to look forward to and the best fitting hood I have seen on a 3000s for a while and the owner actually made the frame himself from scratch stunning work.
Also a Black interior and a stunning restoration with some interesting deviations from OE but done to a level not often seen
Andrew
I bet the Jaguar IRS makes it a bit more portly than it really needs to be, not to mention the change in geometry. Looking forward to seeing the car progress as others have said its in the Right place and I am sure Trim Unique will do it proud once it goes there if you decide to use Lee.

... does the black 3000S in the USA belong to Irv Bennett?
It's Dave Hunt's, although there aren't many original TVR features left on it.Andrew
I would Andrew, the chrome ones make the S look like its from a different, earlier, era. Spoils it for me, but then it's your car, do as you wish!
That said, if I were in need to change mine, I would take a leaf out of Colin Chapman's book, add lightness and use the glass fibre ones.
Not only are they almost indistinguishable from the rubber ones, a whole set weighs about half of a single rubber one and they will not get frost damaged.
As an added bonus, all four will cost about the same as a single new one from DG Sportscars.
See you tomorrow
Dave
