I've just been looking back through some S threads to see as many colours as possible. My S (4462) has been having its paint removed for over 3 years, since it was retired from hillclimbs, and it's still only about half done!

The question is which colour to go for, it will be a body off job so a change is viable.
It was originally a Ford metallic bronze, but when I bought it in 2002 it had been dark green for a few years, and the previous owner had a picture when it was a BMW metallic blue/grey.

I think I'll stick with the green, but I don't have any detail on the shade apart from good old 'BRG', however I do have samples of it which came off the doors in large chunks, which I could match.

Got to agree that the S is a great looking car, I sold mine once & bought it back!

A great photo Steve.

Colour choice is a real pain. Should be good fun (especially when you can literally have any colour you want), but can easily be 'over considered'!

Mine's going back to black any day now smile
