Hi from a newbie 3000S owner
Discussion
I've just been looking back through some S threads to see as many colours as possible. My S (4462) has been having its paint removed for over 3 years, since it was retired from hillclimbs, and it's still only about half done!
The question is which colour to go for, it will be a body off job so a change is viable.
It was originally a Ford metallic bronze, but when I bought it in 2002 it had been dark green for a few years, and the previous owner had a picture when it was a BMW metallic blue/grey.
I think I'll stick with the green, but I don't have any detail on the shade apart from good old 'BRG', however I do have samples of it which came off the doors in large chunks, which I could match.
Got to agree that the S is a great looking car, I sold mine once & bought it back!
