Want to look at fitting 15 or 16" alloys to the M we are building. Probably 7 or 7.5 J rears and 6.5 fronts.

What offsets are people using?

If your car is a standard body with no arches,
split rim type wheel to be used.
Front wheels 6.5j -6mm offset .
rear wheels 7.5j - 10mm 0ffset
should be ok regarding clearances...

Thanks for that, I know it's tyre dependant, but does that hold true for 15 & 16"?

I had 5 spoke Revolutions on my 3000M with 195/70, rears were ok, front rubbed ever so slightly. Dunno the offsets, I'll dig out the receipt tomorrow or tuesday (in the workshop atm) Had minilites on my first 3000S, no idea what the offsets were (to long ago....)

15" 0r 16" the offset will be the same .
Personally i think 16" are the way to go mainly due to the tyre options available. Some great deals at the moment on toyo T1R
205/55/16 and 225/50/16 W rated from Demon Tweeks .sticky modern tyres.

Hi John,

On my 3000S I ran Compomotive MLs, 15x6 ET6 on the fronts with 205/50/15s, and on the back 15x7 ET10 with 225/50/15.

There were no clearance problems. I did have Quaife hubs on the back, I can't remember if they changed the track at all.

I still have the rears with tyres on, if you want to try them on yours.

Fantastic shot of a nice "dream" car. At least for me.
