I am slow to the party.. I know.. sleep But I do find it interesting that When the ex-Sagerman demostrator is pictured folks rarely note that it had a BOSS 302 installed which had significantly more power than the standard 302! (Not a slight on you Oliver... I see it happen a lot)
Also, I know it would be of interest, but somewhere along the line I acquired a longish video of one of the Wide Bodies for sale in probably the Late 70's early 80's where the owner walks around the car, filming all its aspects, then takes it on a test drive. Probably 10 mins long or more. (It is interesting that its so old you can hear the tapes scrolling thru the recorder while he was filming) I need to get it put to disc or the like and on YouTube or the like.
I think it is recorded or certainly alluded to that at least 2 were built with the Boss 302..I don't think many would know the difference on this side of the pond…Some do and appreciate what the Big bad Boss was….
Always fancied knocking a Clevor together but these days it is difficult (especially this side of the pond) and the availability of good aftermarket tuning bits makes it a pointless exercise..
