Afternoon all.

Was wondering if you lovely people could give me some help please.
As some of you will be aware, Clive Letherby did a T-shirt for charity with a Tuscan V8 with a lovely lady on the bonnet.

We have decided to do one this year with the above photo, again for charity, and need help with getting a high resolution photo and if anyone knows, the name of the original photographer so that we can get permission to use it.

If anyone has any info, I really would be great fun if you could get in touch! thumbup

Cheers all beer

If that is a period photo, I would ask Mr. Lilley.....he seems to remember these lovely ladies!
Best,

TVR's publicity photos of that era were taken by Carlton Photographic of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

Unfortunately, they went out of business some time ago, although there appear to be companies of a similar name trading now.

They are still in operation, but have sold on the rights to all things TVR...to a person in Europe.

I lived fairly close to them in Hertfordshire for 27 years. A Club Member who had a 3000M Turbo at the time, supplied them with some of the chemicals they used. In 1986 they cleared-out a load of old, obsolete stuff from their stores, amongst which was two filing cabinet draws of TVR photos, I was given the lot, some of which I published in Sprint at the time. It all was given to the Club historian in 1990-something, so I have nothing left now.

Interesting about the claim that they are in 'Europe'; the UK was still in Europe, up to lunchtime today.

Thanks for the info on this.

Have had a response from Bob at Carleton saying that it wasn't taken by them.

Next thing will be to talk to Richard in the club unless anyone has any further info.

Again thanks for all your input smile
