Looks like a sensible replacement for the original, not sure it (or the original) does a job as a swirl pot though smile

Looks interesting.
Anyone fitted something like this to their Vixen 2500?

Well, I am sure I would have to throw away dozens before I got one that looked half as good as that

Quite. I don't want to criticise a nicely made piece but although it may be useful for topping up the system, as a swirl pot it will be pretty useless. Where is the swirl? Have you run water through it with the lid off?

sorry to say this Fiscracer but imho you are splitting hairs. Most of us call them swirlpots and here is someone who can make new ones for us to keep our TVRs on the road.

Yes at 110 degrees after climbing the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stelvio_Pass in the Alps with Evans coolant fitted in the 3000s and it does swirl a bit however what was fitted to the cars when new and works very well with a well maintained system Richard you don't run them full about 2 thirds full and you get a swirl
His Tanks look great

To be clear, no one has criticised the work done (it looks quite good) or that the 3000m item it's not a good replacement for the original article.

Fact, is though it's not a swirl-pot - no need to get all hot under the collar.

I'm sure if anyone was to take the time and supply Shaun with some revised dimensions, swirl could be achieved smile
