Hi all. I'm about to overhaul mine and I wondered whether anyone else with a 2500 can tell me whether/where the PDWA is mounted on their car? Mine is held up by the brake lines alone and the mounting bolt doesn't go anywhere. Any advice from anyone?
Thanks
Richard

I've got an S3 with a PDWA.

Mine is just held on with a small bracket and hose clips on the hoop over the gearbox.

If you can find an overhaul kit for the original unit (as fitted to Some MG C's and export Land Rovers l understand) l would be amazed. The usual advice is to throw it away!!

It should bolt onto a threaded stud on the crossmember above the bellhousing, there is another on the other side used as an earth point.

Thanks for those responses - i will look for a mounting point over the bell housing. My PDWA looks original and is from a Spitfire. Seals kits are fairly easy to get for those (I have one). I'm keeping it for originality as much as anything and I've never had a problem with it.
Cheers all
