Yeah but technically complicated and far reaching so that's to be expected no.

Then I can extract the Tuscan from the back of my friend's garage and start thinking about making some progress.

Then time for "feel good thread of the year". Right?

Which reminds me there was another guy who had tracked down his Dad's old Vixen race car and was going to rebuild it. He only posted the once I think

Rebuilt the Ford 302. Now a 309. Might have overshot on the HP. wink Was aiming for no more than 300. Looks to be closer to 350hp. Choke still to be connected.

Pretty much slowed to a standstill after injuring my back(hernia) in 2014.
Had surgery a couple of months ago and on the recovery, will probably be another few months before I can start working on it again.

Well, I was getting tired of not being able to read the tachometer as the original unit was for the 2.5l straight six and some time ago I had fitted a 302 v8. I have also broken the speedo cable and never liked how much it bounced around. Or, at least that is the story I am going with.

Not certain why it is upside down. Or how to turn it around.

Must be even harder to read now, what with all the blood rushing to your head as you drive along upside down, biggrin.

This is better. Someone once told me - best to keep the greasy side down.
