I was reading this thread and I have this weird feeling that those switches may be Hillman Hunter as well - that surround looks JUST like the switches I remember, and the luxury variant badged as Humber Sceptre had chrome surrounded switches ??

But could be they are entirely different size - can't tell from photos, so could be a Red Herring.... Just in case....

Lots of ideas which is what the forum is all about. I'm sure my 3000M is not the only one to need the switches refreshingcool

I have several leads at the moment for Switches and when they arrive i will see first if i like them. I prefer to keep my cars looking original as far as possible and will pass on information about replacements once i have tried them.

Just been perusing e-bay for some MGB bits, and came across the correct switches, illuminated with chrome american spec. Sorry, I am rubbish with links, but they are in MGB (all categories). £11.00 each.

It one of the things that i have noticed in my short time with the cars.
Items that i was told where unobtainium and no longer available all of a sudden appear.
Some being re made as they are used on many cars and as prices rise on cars that they fit the demand becomes greater.
Also finding parts listed in the US for other cars and on the shelf but when you ring a supplier here in the UK they say its not or now different.
However i have even asked they here in the UK well do you have this part number and they say yes in stock but its US spec LOL so i order that.

For example many fit these instead of the original
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DASH-PANEL-WARNING-LIGHT...

However i have found the correct ones are now re made

I am sure that if not already available without taking 3 switches to make one then they probably will be at some point.

Just arrived from USA Light switch and Hazard switch price 42.95$ including postage.
Contact <robgarrison@yahoo.com> . Well pleased and just like original, the only thing difference is the contacts on back of Hazard are round which is no problem. For the illumination bulb on back of hazard you will need the mgb bulb holder.
Or MG owners club <andrew.hooper@mgocspares.co.uk> BHA5183 Lights £17.95.
BHA5184 Fan £18.55.
