Hi John
I believe Like mine it would have been supplied by Checkered Flag dealership in Cheswick and registered in the january of 79 although built 78 i think i would presume that all the CLO reg cars would have come out of the same dealership but thats only surmising
Andrew

Spot on Andrew. The car was registered in early Jan 79. It still has the Chequered Flag branded number plate on the rear of the car!

Maybe....I saw the red Taimar on tvrcc web site. Fancy another but possibly rosy tinted specs..I'm not really a spanner man. I've got a couple of lovely classic bikes though. I'm back living in Wadhurst after a stint living abroad. Let me know if you're in the area. I would love to meet up and ogle the new TVR!!! I have a fab local "the old vine" in Cousley wood. Best, Lee.
Hi Lee, would be good to catch up soon, I'll give you a pm if I get over that way. Cheers John

There are quite a few Ms on CLO---T plates, so this is a good excuse to post up a picture of my friend Warren's very pretty Taimar. Totally original, think it is still on the Chequered Flag plates and it must be about time he put it back on the road.

That's very nice Oliver and very a unusual colour scheme - it must have been a factory one-off paint job.

Yes, as far as we know it is the only one in that colour scheme although I have seen pictures of other two tone ones. He has owned it since about 1985, think it was up to about 40k miles when their daughter came along and he parked it in the garage. Here it is with the Taimar I used to own.
