I see we have info on Paint colors but does someone have info on Vinyl roof colors.
Does anybody know who supplied the Vinyl for the roofs please.
I would like to fit new but i prefer to be sure of the color
thanks in advance

Yes, i have seen the Segal Trim site but there are 2 colors Fawn or Parchment.
My 3000M is Roman Bronze and i would like to know what color was used with this.
The vinyl on the roof has been painted several times in different shades of beige or cream.
Was there a big choice of colors for the vinyl on the roof and what color was used with what paint color.
What were the color combinations (maybe a silly question).

I wouldn't rely on mere names of colours as they could've changed over the years. For 'originality', it's surely more important to match it as the eye sees it. Can find a piece of yours from inside a seam or where it's been 'tucked under'? ...there it should've escaped the sun and paintbrushes and might be match-able against currently available colours?

I have just removed a piece of the Vinyl tucked away under the Weathershield that is original and never seen the light of day. I now know the original color and the it is sort of rubberised underneath to be 100% water proof. The samples from Segal are not the same color and much more important NOT RUBBERISED. I've order a sample of the V1123 Parchment to see if it's a closer color match.
To be honest i don't like the idea of it being not rubberised.

Many thanks, i have just sent an E-mail to Martrim to see if i can get a sample.
I could do like many owners and just remove the Vinyl and paint which imho is the easy way out.
But i like to keep my cars as they left the factory. In a few years there will be very few TVRs with the original look of the 70's.
cheers

I have ordered EVERFLEX from Martrim after recieving and looking at several samples from different suppliers. At the moment i am collecting all the material and things ready to replace the Vinyl on the Weathershield + roof.
I will do the job when the weather is nice and warm. It looks like if i do the job myself it will cost about £150. If the result is no good then i will do like others and take the easy way out. That is remove Vinyl and paint the roof which for me would be a pity to lose the original look.
