Your link doesn't work but yes prices well up £11350 for a part finished 76 3000m restoration project. Just shows they are definitely on the up price wise.

Quite encouraged by the price that brown car went for.

Time to start bringing the big bits back home to photograph for an advert I think.

Thanks all for your input.

Paul,
Short term answer is it will probably be best broken, sadly. Did the same with a Lotus Sunbeam and actually got back pretty much what I had spent on the restoration to the point I made the choice to sell off the parts. Sunbeam is worth serious money now, but the way the restoration costs were going at the time it made no sense.

On a selfish note, could you put my name against the seat belts if you decide to break it smile

At the right price this will be sold before the ink is dry on the advert. It's not as if M series cars are available
every day. If it comes with the new chassiss etc, then I am sure the next owner will be able
to get through the resto without too much bother. Good luck!

Imho we need to be careful and remember that the body has had cracks ground out and repaired correctly and to do this it is not cheap. If a top place does this e.g.SMS or another you are talking about £6000+

Thank you guys for your thoughts on the market for projects.

For information, I've now listed my project on eBay so let's see how it goes....
