Where's the better place to source Triumph based brake parts(adjusters handbrake shim /clips and dust seal kits, shoes etc etc . Seen a few on flea bay but not too sure of the quality. Can anyone recommend? Thanks

Adrian's worth a shout, if not a company called Brakes International ( there in Radcliffe and Bolton hence international) should be able to help or Rimmers of course.

Which Triumph?

Personally I'd avoid most of the crap off eBay. It's part of the reason why old cars have a reputation for 'poor' brakes.

Rimmers are good but they can be expensive. Paddocks are good also but you have to be careful what you buy from them ; their Veco pads IMO are fit for the bin.

Robsport are worth a shout and are a good bunch of guys.

I really need to set myself up here, been meaning to for a while! In short, I got sick of buying rubbish and changing it again.

There is no doubt some "crap" on Ebay, but there are also a lot of respectable big companies now running Ebay stores .

Agreed there.

You also have TonyHRS for the Stag folks, and RobSport on there. My point is unless you know who to buy from you can easily be caught out with substandard stuff.

There are a few who after dealing with them I'd never buy parts from again ; they're just cheap junk. ANG Parts can be a lottery, but then again they are cheap.
