Inertia belts for a 3000S ?
Discussion
Hi,
Has anyone successfully fitted a set of inertia sealt belts for a 3000S and if so, what was the source/make/reference ?
I have the original static belts, which are not quite long enough for my generously proportioned other-half, on the odd occasion I can persuade her to go fo a spin (hope she never reads this !)........
I'd prefer inertia to the static belts anyway, as the statics always seem to get snagged behind the seats.

I'd like to fit them to my car which currently has harnesses. I don't mind harnesses, but they are a pain to adjust for different passengers.
Looking at the inertia reels fitted to a friend's TR6 it would appear that they might be a good starting point, and my car's got a roll bar fitted on which there is a plate which looks about right for mounting the reel on.
Adrian I know you don't like harnesses, any advice?

Try Securon www.securon.co.uk/ they recommend a 500/30 for a 3000S/M .... but £75 a pop for black ... £100 if you want colour co-ord !
