Which car is the donor of these chairs, or are they custom made for the 3000s.

I think they are the same as other M series cars. Triumph Dolomite are very similar, much wider but the catches and handles are the same.

The M Series seats were made by Callow and Maddox, I have stock of the seat base foams (these rot away and go hard then turn to dust) as my trimmer will no longer re-trim seats using anything method than replacing the seat foams. The ambala's and cloth used were (most common base colours of Tan and or Black) from the British Leyland range. That I know of, very little Tan ambala or Corded Tan, Black ambla or corded black is available (I have a limited supply of both), but even back then you could have Blue, Brown, and Green colours from the same range along with any colour leather that you fancied as an option. The 3000s also had a smooth black ambala that for some unknown reason TVR mixed this with the original Black in any number of ways but the crash pad was always in this version of smooth . C & M also made the seats across the BL range and so you see the furnishings on lots of their cars.
