on my car, the optional rear lights are missing, have you an idéa, wipac or other??

Also the vents on the bonnet are closed, do you think I must reopen them,
the engine is a crossflow 145cv!!
Thanks

Glass over the holes and fill them in before you paint the car. the rear fogs look hideous and spoil the lines of the car.

I had the same holes on a Tuscan V6 I stripped 15 years ago.
The holes were filled with 2 Lucas bright lenses.
I think I still have them somewhere.

Have a look here.....
www.holden.co.uk/viewProducts.asp?supergroup=Electrical&analysiscode=0062&groupname=Lighting&group=010

I assume you've asked the "usual TVR suppliers" - Adrian V, Steve R, DG etc.?

Oh yes, forgot to say, 4th one down, part number L469/53161 - rather expensive......

Thanks for the response and
very nice photo

I have the lucas number plate L469, if you could find a photo for the optional lights I am interested!! just to see, if I obstruct or not.

For my bonnet vents( front and rear!!), do you think it is better to open them with my
1720 crossflow ( 145cv)?The job is well done but I think non original!!

The vent holes on my Vixen bonnet are all open if that's any help.

Also here's a picture of a Vixen with reversing lights which look like Wipac one's to me.

Many thanks for the photo, I think it is these reversing lamp.

For my vent holes on the bonnet, I try to open them next WE, it's better.

the form in the body is shaped for that very expensive jaguar xk 150 reverse/numberplate unit, so imo that looks best, and you can glas/polyester the extra holes (because you won't need them) wich looks even better!

The optional extra reverse lamps fitted to this Vixen would be fitted as standard to early M Series and are available approx 32UKP each, I also have stock of the flush mounted Wipac units (as on the Green car) in both white and red..though never fitted as standard they are an easy fit and as the red lamp can look good as a fog light.

The original photo show's oval holes for where the lamps were....these last round set have bespoke alloy spacers, very after market customer fit!! BUT the lamps do look like they are from a grantura, having searched my parts listing for the Vixen, I found the correct Lucas part that the factory supplied in the option would have been fitted to the 71-74 M Series and on most Vixen models they were sold as manually operated units on a dual switch with the heated rear window (where as the Tuscans and M's were operated from the reverse light switch on the gearbox).
