Toni, please don't take my comments too personally, you are merely 1 of very many. The reason I contacted you with details of the car was that everywhere I looked you were advertising for a TVR Vixen V8. My car seemed to tick all your boxes (except obviously your telephone box).I am honestly not concerned whether you buy the car or not, good cars will always find the right home and the ad in Classic and Sportscar has generated much interest (mostly from "tennis players"
but it would be a shame for you to miss it for the sake of a phone call.
As far as trying to call me and not getting me I cannot understand. I have just spent almost 3 weeks in Malaysia and Thailand and at vast expence to myself left my mobile on and received many calls (most starting with "I wonder if you can help me!!". I am virtually always contactable !! sTeVeR

Three guesses. I am sure Toni has his reasons for not calling me but I still cannot understand why people think they can conduct their lives by email. And please don't get me off on texting, christ we will soon evolve with no mouth and 40 fingers.
To illustrate this is no personal slur on Toni, last week I had an email from someone very local and very well known to me about the S3 I have for sale in the Pistonheads classifieds. I phoned him back and got a voicemail message so I left a message asking him to call me. 2 hours later I get an email saying he would call. Monday I get an email saying he would phone me. He still hasn't!! I don't understand how this new system works but for me it doesn't.
