Grantura MK2a steering wheel

Hi, Im restoring a Grantura MK2a, it has no steering wheel. I was talking to the Moto-lita guy at the recent NEC Classic show, and found i couldnt be sure which center boss to order. Their brochure says there is one boss for all cars up to 1969, is this correct, because the torsion bar cars have an anglia steering box not a rack. So does this mean the splines etc at the top of the column are different. My column has 48 splines and is 3/4" dia the mota-lita guy says this is not Anglia as they have 30 something splines. Any one know the correct boss or if not the dimensions of the boss on their mk1 or 2 Grantura?

Hi Richard,

Long time no speak. Have just seen your post, I have an original column in the garage (somewhere!) destined for my Mk 1, I will try to have a look at it one evening this week and do the measuring.
