Not me, our S Turbo. Took her up to Hexham Horseless today for some odds and sods of work and a had a little play with a WRX PPP Scoobie. I think he got quite a shock when the old Tiv pulled away from him. Got a big thumbs up though.

I was quite pleased, and nice to get the thumbs up too.

It is a great feeling to be appreciated by other drivers. One of the highlights with our S turbo was on the way back from the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2004. Two lanes of slow moving traffic coming out, and we slowly burbled past a gorgeous series 1 E-Type. The driver looked across, smiled, and gave a big thumbs up. It wasn't even clean...

Oliver.

...and pedestrians.

Driving the Vixen through South Woodford a couple of years back and a bunch of teenagers started doing that 'we're not worthy' bowing thing.

Made me laugh anyway!

Absolutely Oliver, all 63 Turbos IMHO were the finest cars to come out of Bristol Avenue what a cracking motor even 30 years on they can stretch the legs of even current models.
