There is nowt stranger than folk.

If it doesn't meet the reserve then I will just keep it. I feel I am giving it away as it is. I would have thought that £5k worth of Brand new Vixen under a proper S2 servo car with known HSCC history would have stirred peoples blood a bit. It stirred mine!!

Even at the reserve it looks very good value when compared to the orange S3 at £12500?

We shall see.
My future racing career depends on it.

Funny thing is ebay, bit like sex, you put lots of time and effort into it and its the last few minutes when everything comes to a climax. I've put things on and been lots of people watching and other times nobody seems interested and it all goes mad at the end. Hope it comes good, I'm waiting for it to end before putting an interesting offering on so in some ways I hope you get lots of money and in others I hope they all save it for my car.

I think Graham Sharpe's Vixen is superb and probably worth all he is asking for it, its one of those cars I think he will regret selling after its gone. sTeVeR

Hi steve.
I agree. £12500 is chicken feed for a properly restored Vixen. A limited production classic car for mondeo money.

I think people see basket cases and think that they can just use a bit of hammerite and t cut to achieve the same results.

A proper enthusiast knows exactly how much they cost to build. Like I said earlier. the new chassis in mine is £5k on a bad day, and I know where to get the bits.

hopefully when the auction reaches the vinegar strokes the reserve will be met.

Neil.
