New MOT and maiden trip to work

My Vixen S2 which I have been overhauling mechanically since Christmas (purchased not having been started for 5 years) now has a new MOT and completed its first 26 mile commute to work this morning (armed with fire extinguisher, phone & RAC card)

There is a 10 mile motorway section which I was a little concerned about but we tickled along at 65-70mph (sounded like we might take off above 70mph!!) without too much fuss.

Surprised by the amount of attention the old girl attracted including a nod from the local radio station's traffic biker.

Still very much a work-in-progress with interior, some intruments to refurb etc, but certainly a milestone reached today.

Thanks very much to everyone for the advice given to numerous questions that have helped me get this far (still more to come no doubt).
