No problem. We fancy going down on the Saturday evening and staying overnight for some beer and good company, but need to find somewhere first. And some fancy camping, some would prefer a B&B, and I need to find time to search out the options...

Hope you're enjoying your M,

Oliver.

Update for those who might be interested...

16th September 2007
TVR Pre-80's meeting
Papplewick Pumping Station
Notts.

Geoff's organising the meeting again and I'll be lending a hand (+ helpers).

Geoff and I spent Sunday afternoon at the venue and all I can say is that it is perfect for our needs, Plenty of parking, picnic areas, working museum, cafe, and hopefully sunshine. Informal meeting again including Concours d'Elegance and chats.
Time line plus special examples.
Trader stands and the usual suspects.
Bring picnic, blanket and seating.
We'll be all together so should be a little easier this time.
The pump house is absolutly georgeous and will be in steam that alone will be a sight to see.
I'll post some more details later but I thought best to let you all know early so as you don't double book!
Gates open at 10am so please be early so we can get you parked and all enjoy the day.
No probs with late arrivals though cos gate is manned all day.
Secure cctv parking across road for newer stuff.
Premier Travel Inn, Daybrook, Nottingham has rooms for £50 Saturday night, good local pubs and proper beer (20 mins from venue)
I'll pop into the premier and see if I can get a better deal. (post up if fancy it)
Looking to improve on the number of cars this year so please attend if you can.
Mods can you put a sticky on this.
Supes.

We are looking at doing so, jury is out on whether we are camping or B&Bing. Should be good if we can get a group of us together.

Oliver.

You can arrive as early as you like Alan but they won't be ready for us until 10am when all staff are present.
But the good news is that I think they will let you park first before collecting money so we should take around 1 hour to complete parking if majority are on time.
Parking plan will be Horse shoe pointing in and circular pointing out with centre areas for picnic....lets hope the weather is good.
Time line and specials will be herringbone from entrance back. Geoff will chose the time line vehicles as they arrive and I'll be parking the rest with a little help.
There will be around 20 vehicles in the time line and specials so arrive early if you fancy a slot!
See you there matey,
Supes.

As I'm driving over on my own now (her indoors says she can only cope with so many yawns during one day), has anyone got any hot tips for a campsite or B&B yet, as a few beers on Saturday night and discussion of classics TVRs sounds good to me. rather than driving both ways on Sunday.

Sorry no camping on site, gates are locked overnight.

The one thing I did forget to mention was the entrance fee which is £10 per car (£5 each if there is 2 of you) hope that's not too expensive.

B&B sounds the best bet, If those who are staying overnight can get as local as possible there are quite a few decent pubs we can meet at because I fancy a beer Saturday too.
Supes.

Just to let you know that wheather forcast looks good for weekend and It looks like the museum will be busy, It's only a small cafe on site so best to bring picnic and flask to save queing!
The Museum have been advertising in the local Evening Post the last couple of weeks anouncing that classic TVR's will be present on Sunday, so should be pretty busy...
Did any of you sort accomodation or meeting for drinks on Saturday!
Cheers all,
Supes.

A group of us are staying at the Commodore in Nottingham city centre, it is also now fully booked. The S is running well now and we are really looking forward to it.
