Any more Takers?

It never ceases to amase me how many people fail to experience the patter of this legend at car shows and walk by blissfully unaware of who he is, how he shaped TVR, how he was instumental in keeping it afloat during the turbulent bankruptcys, How he correctly engineered the Griffith Chassis for Production, How he prepared 3 Granturas for le-mans. etc etc etc. The list goes on.

I think you all now should have enough clues.

I'd stay out of Mike Bigland's way if I were you. John Thurner is old enough to be his dad!

Both 'he' and Tommy Entwistle were good enough to sign my copy of 'Sucess against the odds' book, when they were having the Gem re-built by Ric(Wood) complete with GA block engine.

And yes Neil, it would be a good read.

He's signed my copy of "Success against the Odds". And his appetite for beer is pretty legendary too...

GaJon, have you seen the new issue of "ClassicFord" magazine? A big article on a gorgeous rebuild of the Broadspeed/Vince Woodman Capri racer with a 460bhp GA Essex.

Oliver.
