Hello from Australia!

I've lurked here for many years and found lots of great stuff, so now it's time for me to contribute in return.

Hope you enjoy my photos from the Bathurst 12 Hour held last weekend.

I was in the pit garage for the Edwards/Bowe/Simonsen/Farnbacher Ferrari 458 GT3, but since that didn't go the distance I escaped to the rest of the circuit to cover the event.

Good well-rounded result in the end with an Audi R8, Merc SLS, and F458 podium. Just a shame it didn't include the F458 I was there with!

I had the same thing watched hours of it only for the recording to stop a bit before the end! At one point it looked like all the supercars were going to have crashed or stopped by the end.

I enjoyed watching it more when it was all saloons, there is now too much of a speed difference with not enough supercars to make it a good race ie the majority of the field are being lapped by half a dozen much faster cars.
