Must have been red for about 30 minutes now.
Ferrari 111 and 333 crashed, not sure on corner. 333 was up in flames and 111 was across the track. The helicopter had to land trackside to airlift 1 or both of the drivers to hospital (Most reports seem to indicate the driver of the 111 car being worst).
No replays have been shown of the incident, only the aftermath when it was very first on screen. It didn't look good
It was Stavelot, and from what I can gather, a good amount of the red flag time was more than likely spent stabilizing Marcus Mahy for the airlift.Ferrari 111 and 333 crashed, not sure on corner. 333 was up in flames and 111 was across the track. looks like hes okish http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115171
I caught bits of this plus the last couple of hours on Motors TV over the weekend. Pretty close race in the end, would have been nice if MarcVDS's gamble had paid off. So Audi have the Le Mans/N24/Spa trio this year.
But all the crashes earlier on Saturday ! Not sure if it's just a lot of bad luck, field being too big, cars being too close to each other on performance, bad driving, or some of all those.
