Any idea what happened to red flag race 2? I was at the other end of the track

Two Astons and a BMW tried to go through Turn 1 together. The Astons ended up facing each other in the gravel, one being severely damaged - I didn't see the other one before they covered it in its garage. The BMW had front suspension and splitter damage but not as severe. They hauled the drivers off to the medical centre for checks but they were ok. Marc was fairly close - look through his photos.

yeah, it happened literally right in front of me. Sadly I didn't get much in the way of decent shots as I was trying to avoid them landing on top of me. The two Astons actually got airbourne through the gravel and so I was heading sideways to try and avoid where they might land while shooting but not actually looking through the viewfinder! Luckily they never cleared the barrier but it was bent right back against the fence.
