British GT I guess then?
The championship is still wide open, so there should be some hard racing
There's a pit walk, where the drivers will be signing autographs etc which is usually good for getting some free posters and so on.

It's normally open paddock, so you can walk around the back of the garages driver and guest spotting. Sir Chris Hoy is racing in the Nissan GTR, and Rick Parfitt Jr (son of the guitarist from Status Quo) is in one of the GT4 Ginettas, so there will be some recognisable faces knocking around.

The timetable can be downloaded from this link, along with access to live timing on the day:
http://www.tsl-timing.com/?loc=major&season=20...

If you want to take some good photos, there's a quick guide to good locations here: http://formulaediary.com/2014/08/15/photography-ti...

Anyone know what you need to do to get access the grid walk, or is that press & VIP only?

Well today was my first Gt race in about 10 years and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great battles at the end, and the BMW/Bentley engine notes were just filth!

The VW cup was also entertaining, with some hard racing and scant disregard for track limits at Foggies!

F3 was as bad as expected, but the most disappointing thing for me was how flat and quiet the Ferraris sounded!

Still, I will be going to more BGT races in the future!

Last round of the season and both GT3 and GT4 titles were taken to the wire.

Glowing brakes approaching Redgate:

Close round Goddards hairpin:

Rick Parfitt Jnr being a bit of a nut:

Was my first visit to Donington too. Was great to watch. Wish I had forked out a little more money to get a decent seating position!

I think I want to become a race driver lol!

Rumours that Marco Attard was moving sector from wine to tobacco started to seem plausible...

Racing was close with good battles taking place all the way through the field

Flying!

Glowing!

No rain, but it did get a bit dim at times...

Great pics chaps! I only really took a few towards the end to remember the day by. Spent too much time engrossed in the racing, watching between the old hairpin and Foggies.
