I miss the very individual designs on le mans cars partiularly from 1995-2003 stuff like the welter peugeots the Panoz esperante/lmp . the Gt1 silhouete specials etc
Any one else feel the current crop are too indentikit?

Very much so, but then it goes hand in hand with roadcars these days.

GT2/GT3 cars are all pretty similar, we all know about them, they're all from major manufacturers and pretty much all fairly mass produced (certainly they're nowhere near the pinnacle of most of the manufacturers ranges).

The 90's had so many obscure supercars from little known manufacturers and so many of them went racing as well. Plus not every series ran to the same rules.

Belcar and Dutch Supercar Challenge being mostly GT3 up front is dull as anything. Then you look at the likes of Dubai 24hr and that sorta thing and they're all the same too.

Not a surprise the way they spent money like it was going out of fashion to start with. Shame as I had previously worked with a few of the blokes there. Oh well, just another deceased race team just like so many others.
