Very wet test day, dry qualifying, drizzly start to the race - all told a good test for Avon race tyres! That there weren't more serious crashes is credit to drivers' self control - better behaved I'd say than last season - or Oulton earlier this year.

Overall winners - and far better luck than Rockingham (cough) - one of two VonRyan McLarens the #12 car of Gilles Vannalet and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs.



Marco Attard and Lee Mowle extended their championship lead having landed 3rd place in the Barwell Motorsport BMW Z4.



The Tolman Motorsport #56 G55 Ginetta in the pits.



The Trackspeed spotty 997 Cup made a welcome return but was sadly a DNF.
