Octagon Motor Sports Suck

Has anyone noticed how s***e the Octagon web site is? There was supposed to be a special TVRCC offer on Powertour tickets...no way to get it on the web..AND you can''t call them (no number on website) AND even if you get the number (I did) they''re busy. For Hours. Did anyone get the offer price tickets for Brands Hatch Powertour?

Hi Don, I'm afraid Octogan are more interested in the touring cars. Mike Jordon has been working hard on sorting out a lot of things such as the night race. Perhaps a letter to the GT association about discounted tickets would be a good idea. Did you take up the Castle Combe offer (£16 for weekend ticket). James

Certainly did. It was straightforward to get too. You just called 'em up and they did what they said they'd do. Two weekend tickets at a good price - and the racing was well worth the money! Octagon just don't seem to be manning the blasted phones! Its all very well trying to get people to buy tickets on the web (I actually PREFER that) but when the web software can't do what had previously been publicised that's just not being thorough. Maybe I should offer my services....

I think Octagon do care about power tour and the fact they are listening to drivers such as Mike is testerment to that. So how many TVR's and associated sports cars are coming to cheer everyone on this weekend?

I thought that all Octagon circuits were NOT giving discounts nor parking for TVRCC members. IMHO they will be the death of motorsport in the UK as we know it.

Silverstone did earlier in the year. Maybe that was before the Octagon thing.
