In tuscan terms, the only thing unusual about that picture is the fact that Jason has a brake light out. Everything else in that image is perfectly normal for a Tuscan race or qually on an October morning at Oulton Park
Jason was only braking to write an invoice Edited by NTEL on Friday 20th February 14:06

Well that's my point really....if TVR had done a Tuscan road car the finish would probably be half decent....doesn't mean that race cars can't be well turned though ..we have some cracking cars out there....with dedicated folks putting the shine back in following incidents...We will be painting the car in the middle of March ....that way Richard can mop it on the tvrcc stand at the NEC ...can't paint it too soon as mopping needs fresh paint for best finish...
Sorted slave cylinders now AP and Girling ....Karl met JR at the Race Retro show yesterday and confirmed sizes ...running split system with a bias bar adjustable from the dash....( I know....)
Gotta get hand brake cable made....and fuel lines ...these will be aluminium with dash fixings ...

You don't change....had to google your post to find out what you want...will sort some Sunday...off to Cheshire Oaks for the next couple of days...treating Ginny to some RT.....Body and bonnet ready for stopper...then polymer primer now...picking petrol tank up and swapping crappy mocul oil coolers for radtec stuff up at Cannock Monday....also altering the swirl pot and expansion tank they supplied a couple of weeks back....need a set of silicone hoses next....we put pedal box together too...need a 1 inch slave for clutch...rest are sorted...must go got to sit on the M6 northbound as Ginnys passenger for a couple of hours....( should get my licence back the end of March)
Take care, love to Jetty and the pooch!
Quick update....
Off to body shop again in a moment car goes in paint ( when it arrives!) today....will be wet flat ting body tub first though..then flat ting the doors and exhaust side cover(s) which are still in polyester coat....needing filler primer, then base coat, then colour coat, then lacquer....no pressure then!
Got to take cage apart and paint it too....all good...
The car will be on the TVRCC stand at the NEC Practical Classics Restoration Show at the weekend....Richard will be mopping the car, Terry, Karl, George, and me we will be fitting the exhaust, cage, dash, ....god knows what else!
Come along have a chat more than welcome...

That looks really top drawer Steve. When I last saw it,it was a collection of rusty tubes on your drive.
Nuff respect Bro'!
Hi mate...glad you like what you see.....thanks, you never know...it didn't painted until 17:00 Friday night ( prob with paint supplier) I contacted NEC and told them that we could get it in there for the 22:00 build cut off, but the paint lacquer wouldn't be dry.....they agreed to let us get over before 08:45 at the v.latest...Nuff respect Bro'!
We Terry. Michael,Luke, Richard Karl, Dave and myself , met just outside the Ricoh arena at 05:55..we fitted the body and bonnet and loaded it on Karl's trailer....got over there for 08:41....then took it apart again before the show doors opened at 09:00!
Did you spot Karl and Ben in his Roaring Back shirts from across the road? They have been members of the TVRCC since locating and securing Karl's dads Grantura MK1 last year....
Take care love to the three of you!

The chassis was waxoiled on the stand, we made pads for it to sit on in areas where the cage didn't sit, we finished off the stainless rivets in the engine bay, we cut and fixed with sikoflex the exhaust area, fitted the exhaust, and fitted the roll cage, and steering column....engine, gearbox, bespoke prop, handbrake, diff, fully braided brake lines, sound proofing, carpets (tunnel area) were already fitted prior to show.....
Car now back at unit for finishing of mopping to doors, engine bay, doors,.
Now fitting hamburger lights and putting in wiring loom for lights ignition ....and ecu ....

BUMP!
Hi Nick,Apologies for the delay in response regarding your post ....
Been extremely busy since the show last year, but managed to start wiring her and fitted bonnet etc...
But despite my greatest intentions other things have taken over ...
However we have had a cancellation for one of the cars at the Restoration Show next weekend, and I have been asked if we can bring the car along along to continue the work ....so we will be cracking on at the NEC next weekend!
Come and see us and have a cuppa!
Steve

Hi John,Nuff respect Bro'!
See post above....been getting our act together since the recent request to put the car back on the stand....
Hopefully it will go down well with those that see what we intend to do....
Guess you will give me face to face feedback when we come over to your place in Barbodos in about three weeks....better do a decent job this weekend me thinks!
Terry, Michael and Luke (Tim Hoods team members)
Karl and Ben (you know them they live over the road and now have their old Grantura MK1 back)
And George will be helping out on the car.....electrics,dash,rad,sump,oil system, water system .....hoping to move things towards start up!
Hi There,
Well we had a busy weekend at the show...mainly concentrated on making the Rover Metro 1.4 Kensington body loom talk to the Chimaera 500 engine loom working off a Lucas 14 CUX ECU.
Michael and Terry cut loads of duplicated non required stuff out, Luke, Karl and Ben and myself worked on fitting Radiator (running twin fans) and the oil cooler etc...
Good progress in all fairness a couple of images of how she is looking now... ...
