Devastated ...simon took my engine apart yesterday and it's beyond repair
Looks like I'm out for the rest of the season frown

Never very good, a lot of us have been where you are right now not that that is much consolation to you. Stiff upper lip old bean. Only one more round for you, so not a complete disaster it's a long winter to get it all sorted for a fresh attack in 2015,look on the bright side you could use this as an opportunity to go 4.7 now to keep up with the others. cool

edited to add LS3's are reduced at Cannock third of the price of an AJP but A+ in challenge ?

Really sorry to hear that Bill. When you say "beyond repair" what do you actually mean? Is it a total rebuild or a bin job? I could send my spare AJP up to Simon for refresh (I was going to wait till early next year) and conceivably it could be ready for Oulton if that helps?

Know just how you are feeling mate frown I could of bought a Tuscan for what i have spent on the car this year and i've only managed 2 races, give me a call to chat rebuilds if you want?
As Mark said how bad is it and do you know what went wrong, i have some spares from the first re-build but have put of starting the second as i don't need anymore bad news just yet lol

Thanks Bill, she is a lot better and been given a clean bill of health by the specialists now. Happy days again smile modern treatments rock!

What's the difference between road block & race block can't believe they would go to the extreme expense of having separate blocks Andy internals yes but blocks ?
Even ford don't go to that expense no wonder tvr went belly up
