so who is up for this!!, donington was a great race with Deano taking the win, one of the last chances to race this year and open to cars built 2000 or newer with open rules on aero and sequentials, this last race is a taster race to see if there are enough cars to make a series next year, so we need to get the numbers up to make it a go for next season, all ajp tuscans are eligible with the air filters as they are, so another series to race in as well as the challenge next year, just call David at the CSCC and he will sort you out, there aren't many series the ajp tuscans or later cars can run in so this is a great chance to have somewhere else to run the cars.
there are a decent variety of other cars which makes it very interesting,
so anyone considering but are not sure give me a bell and I will talk you into it.
as far as I can tell the following are eligible,
Hugh
Mark
Jason
Matt
Keith
Christian
Ivor
Chris
Bill
Mike
Darren (ajp)
and if any of you who know any racers that fit the bill in other marques.
come on life is too short not too, it is not a rehearsal and we will soon be in the throws of winter wishing you had raced more this season.

Not just cars built from year 2000 onwards, but also for cars built pre year 2000 but have not benn eligible for our other series up to now due to their aero or gearbox.

Tim I love your enthusiasm & effort to get us all involved, you know i'll be there if the car is working!
Booked into Powers rollers on Wednesday to get the car mapped and then we should be good to go bounce

Very interesting, Tim

My chassis is 1993 raced first with an AJP in 1994 so technically not a millennium car.
Sadly, even if eligible, the old girl needs a lot of work after Anglesey so the DTEC single race at Oulton is about all I can squeeze out of her before the winter rebuild.

Since going to the States earlier this month and trying a NASCAR I don't know whether anything else comes close! It was awesome!

We'd need more details and photos but maybe. It will need to run on List 1b tyres, though.

I'm afraid I don't know as Special Saloons / Modsports is not my series or area of expertise. Contact Hugo/ CSCC office with as many details and spec of the car and photos as possible and they will forward yo Ricky Morris, the co-ordinator for that series. If you can show that a Tasmin raced in Modsports, Wendy Wools or Castle Combe GT or Donington GT pre 1993 then that will make life easier.

Thanks Andy, as much as we would like to join you as the race at Donington looked very good it would not be fair and would spoil your series to introduce cars like this.
