G
G, you saying he never looks at the forum? The biggest online forum dealing with HIS motorsport racing series? I honestly find that hard to believe, busy or not.

Secondly, a lot of us out there know that JR's not that great when it comes to people skills, (not all of us can be wink, that's why we were hoping that you or Tim or somebody would act as a conduit and pass our feelings/suggestions on for his serious consideration. Maybe we need to have an end of season team conclave (like the F1 teams and Bernie have, hah), with John preferably, have a good, honest discussion and make plans for the new season and the future of the series. Most of us would relish the opportunity for another get together followed by a few shandy's anyhow!

I honestly doubt that John has the time to be fielding calls from 20 odd individuals, all asking for something different. He has a business to run, as well as a race series. We HAD all of our ideas/suggestions here, in one place, for anybody to read. If John truly doesn't come on here (he should, it would save him fielding the calls), somebody, who has his ear, should have summarised this thread and sent him an email or sat with him for a chat. Personally, I'm miffed that it was all for nothing. Let's do it differently next year.

Finally (no hope here).... If it's too late for any changes..... Can I keep my sequential and stay in A? silly

There was a note on here NOT to all go phoneing him, but to get points raised on here, get a concensus, then someone (G) would speak to him for us. Iirc

What did i say
1 1 more race weekend
2 move oulton forward
3 power limit in A+
4 mix the circuits up a bit ie not same old

From memory. He seemed ok with all of these. But then he would if he was going to forget them.

Geoff keeps an eye on ph and reports back.

Some people dont use forums jr being one of them!

I asked jr what his preference was on how he would like feedback, He said he would prefer people to talk to him directly. I simply passed that on. You can take a horse to water .........

A serious case of the all too widely used 'management' euphemism " I hear what you're saying".
Not sure "feedback" was ever actually and sincerely asked for by the sounds of it (in true Bernie styly) wink

Excellent news Linda.
Geoff's a Superstar as far as im concerned, and along with you and the rest of the team, the cornerstone of the Championship.
On the face of it our racing is all about lairy fast TVR's,BHP,Results and lap times..
But when the engine's have cooled and the cars are still, it's the experiences and the people you share them with that resonate long afterwards.
