Hi Andy,

Thanks for posting the dates. Sorry but need to ask a stupid question. Am I safe to assume that R 4 with tbc dates will happen sometime between August and October....not in July? As my darling wife is more interested in booking a holiday for some reason!!!

well that's a damn shame because I won't swap a week at spa for any track in this country so I and a good few others will not be at Snetterton as its the spa summer classic that weekend, that's the only clash so far but R4 tbc will probably clash with something as there are several meets during that time.
Bummer!!

And for those that are interested it also clashes with the Goodwood Festival of Speed

After last years damage fest at Oulton in October, it will be interesting to see how many enter.

Plenty will enter I'd have thought Dave, as they'll be up and out for the dinner dance anyhow. Nobody will like it though, especially after the carnage that last year was. What's the betting that the BRSCC will give us really scensoredt slots again too? Snetterton will be the interesting one, as many of us will be at Spa and not in Norfolk!

"Racing drivers" complaining about a slippery track! Surely pushing he limits is the fun of it!

Shame there is no Brands hatch or Cadwell on the list.

I reckon Mike should do OP with NO aero wink

At present, I'm looking at Rockingham and Snett with DTEC. See what the TBC round will be (hopefully not Brands, make the southern lot travel more for a change lol). Anglesey is the weekend baby due so very little chance there and we will (hopefully) attend dinner dance but not sure if racing (hoping to do something a little different later in year so saving car!).

In the interest of balance,it's worth pointing out the fact that the last two seasons CSCC Future Classics meetings at Oulton were worse in terms of damaged cars.

And both of those September races were dry and relatively warm scratchchin .

FWIW I'll be there in Sept and Oct biggrin .

Just got off the phone with GP and apparently the dates put out by the BRSCC at AS are NOT finalised. He and JR are in the process of sorting the dates this week and should be sorted by Friday(ish). GP is also well aware of the SPA/CSCC clash (he races in Tophat occassionally remember) so they will be looking at that too.
Good news I'd say. biggrin
