Brand new 9" help needed

I have a brand new stickered set of 250/640/18 medium slix I bought off john towards the end of last season. Does anyone have a stickered set of 285/660/18 they would like to swop or would they help me out if you are thinking of a new set for the beginning of the season, or by getting my size and doing the swop. They are the same price

There's not many peeps running 10" rims and those that are only run rears, so i think the best you'll get is a pair of 285's


I do have brand new set of 2* 250 and 2*285, but i run 9" front and 10" rear.. its going to be a while before my car is back together so i'd sell the lot at cost

I need new rubber for the start of the season, but not interested in buying a different size and getting them shipped elsewhere and then the rigmarole of getting yours collected when I can just order a set off John and get them delivered to wherever I like for the same price. I'll give you a grand for them Perry, if you can get them to Andy or Col (without putting a knife through the sidewall On a tight budget this season Don't have the luxury of racing sponsors unfortunately!

Mark its not that difficult, I only want to swap the tyres 4 x 9 inch for 4 x 10 inch. You buy the 10" from John and get delivered to me and I will send the 9" to Colins - same price good TVR spirit. Not sure what you are insinuating by your comment, I would put a knife in the tyres as Andy has been a friend of mine for many years and I don't know you??

I'll check myself in for a sense of humour bypass. Surely John could ask Dunlop to swop them? Unless they're an old batch number of course.

Hi Mark , might be worth hanging on to your old tyres for Rockingham as surface is abrasive and can take alot of life out of your brand new rubber , check with Andy and Col .

My old slicks are well shot so will need new ones for it. They were scary bad at Oulton last year and dont fancy hitting any concrete lol...

Hi Perry. Yes all good and think all on track! Car is getting stickered, get it back tomorrow then couple of niggly things to finish off Wednesday night! Out in Bernies V8s yes see what happens and a bit of fun! Not driven the car yet with new diff and itb's fitted!

Just to bounce this to the top, Dunlop dont have any 250 tyres only 245 so if you want a new set of 250's doing a deal with Perry looks like your only way!!!
