Dave

We stayed at Le Roannay one weekend 10-12 years ago when Hugh wasn't racing - definitely not the cheapest but we enjoyed it - and it is not far from the circuit.

Good morning Dave,

You have left it a bit late for a choice of hotels , I only stay in the cheaper hotels, clean and tidy not sure you will be interested in my suggestions but here goes, although the higher up the price range you go the better it will be for choice. There are over 800 cars racing during the weekend CSCC take over 480 approx. Our clan are all staying in Staverlot a small medieval village only 4km from the Blanchemont entrance and it has a petrol station in the high street , Blanchemont is the main entrance for racers. we stayed in the village last year it was really nice, quiet but great atmosphere, I'm not sure if you will be able to get in that entrance, depends what passes or tickets you get. I may have dreamt this but I think last year entrance was free to spectators.

We stayed here last year brilliant for the price

We would have stayed there again this year but it didn't have enough rooms left for us in January, so we booked another hotel 100 yrds up the road. we had the last two double rooms there I think. Debbie has that info on her laptop so will let you know tonight when I see her just in case looks nice and comfortable as well. It's a case of Google I,m afraid and the official Spa site has hotel page. We are traveling out early Wednesday morning scrutineering is on Thursday from 9am that's when it all starts to get exciting every one is buzzing. Can't wait as long as I have an entry, if not I can pass on my ferry and hotel bookings LOL

three years ago stayed here was very good as well.:

Dave according to Road Book the spectator entrance is the main one just after Island on the right as you come from the N16 . Free car parks are P1 and P2 either side of main entrance. You just cross into the paddock via the tunnel and come out right besides the F1 drivers club house 2 mins away from CSCC pits. hope that helps a bit more as main entrance is 10km from Blanchimont. Just read it is free admission
