PS you can usually hire them from TSL on the day £25 springs to mind

I zip tie mine to the chassis ( no need for a Bracket ,extra weight) as far forward as possible just in case you are in a dead heat with another car on a run to the line, hopefully my transponder will cross the line before his, that's the theory
