What a great weekend we had , a big thanks to Rob and Nelson of Boss racing who ran me and to our good friend Jim
And to Tim for all his hard work keeping us all fed And Wined
Matts face was a picture beaming from ear to ear ..well done Matt
To get the car out for race 3 looked impossible but they did it and my good friend Deano didn't let us down with a 1st in class A ..and2nd overall
For me personally even though didn't Finnish races 1&2 it was the best for me and the car

Being older but not necessarily wiser we travelled back yesterday, Monday, so arrived home last evening. It was a fantastic weekend and better weather than expected. Thanks to Tim for his much appreciated efforts in the cooking department. Great Barbeque and very many thanks from Maureen for stepping in to 'cook our bacon' on Sunday.
As usual Colin and TVRSSW worked their socks off for me and Mike Blake. Colin, Dave and George practically rebuilt my car on Friday! More will have to be done to catch Deano and Billy though!
The racing was great and pretty close at times. Sorry about the rubs Mike L!! The TVR400 was beautiful and brought back a few memories of helping to run it at Spa Silverstone and Donington in the early naughties. The Sags were great and I hope they come out again.
The circuit is amazing and thanks to one and all for a great weekend. See you all at Mallory hopefully.

Well that was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in all fairness.......
What a cracking venue....
There was racing throughout the grid....good manners ...and racing etiquette ...real commrarderie throughout the competitors ....and friendship ...
So much going on ... But Tim Davis did it for me ...bloke throwing that AJP A+ car into the corners chasing those LS cars....then BBQ'ing what appeared to be BBQ!ing the whole weekend ...what a top bloke....yes folk helped too which is brilliant ...
Then Dean and his good lady landing at Gatwick(?) at cica 03:00 in the morning prior popping home and heading up the motorway to join us and compete....just bonkers...FairPlay ....how they got the car sorted after the morning session beggers belief....
The third race hopefully offered the potential for a future ...With those A+ cars going head to head and racing going on throughout the field....certainly no procession there....
The next round is Mallory on the doorstep of my region....as RO I will try and attract a decent crowd of TVRCC folk...aim to get a decent display area close to you folks.....
I know that members will be made welcome....but I need to start the ball rolling early ...don't want to do a last minute .com thing here...so after speaking with JR this evening will be calling Geoff in the morning to see what the ticket allocation is like....
Last weekend was brill...need Darren, Mike Saunders, and Dean in it for the next one...plus Jamie ....and the rest of you lot ....where's that Perry bloke by the way?

Tapped Das going down the corkscrew... Bonnet came loose and two laps on broke in half and it flipped over me on the main straight at full speed ...then coming down the corkscrew the front half fell forward under the front of the car ..we managed to get most of the bits back and put them together again "what a f..... Liberty"
