It makes sense for me to change from the 48drla carbs currently on the tuscan to injection .. but I have no idea how much a set of carbs and tvr inlet manifolds is worth. Has anybody sold any recently? ebay is no help even looking at old listings for quad carb and manifold combos ..
I'm guessing the historic rallying and racing set (rover sd1, tr7V8 crowd etc) is where the max return on them would be?
any help appreciated cheers.

I will be making my own inlet from scratch, probably a x-over to fit in chim/griff engine bays too.

Dellorto 45 and 48 DRLA' carbs are very rare these days, its usually Dhla' that come up for sale
I've just had a set of DRLA 45's fully rebuilt to as new and have been looking at prices for the past 6 months, they don't come up very often on e-bay being so rare.

Have seen scruffy/in need of service pair go for £180 (some service parts are no longer available) and a refurbished set for £600 - so pick a number and hope for the best.

If you find someone who specifically wants a set of these I suppose they are worth more - as hard to find - but modern alternatives better.

wow that was a good result .. so 800 is the new starting point i guess hehe .
I think they were rebuilt by brain at lawfield, there's certainly receipts for carb parts in the car history. cheers

I sold mine for kore than that although that included a load of spares! Carbs with filters, load of spare trumpets, base plates and filters. More jets (air and main) so what I got isnt necessarily an accurate figure...

Also bare in mind that there arent really any modern equivalent Carbs (you got these or Webber really) so do get good money. Plus there are a lot of race series that must run period induction!

I rebuilt them Jooles. If you were keeping it on carbs they would benefit from another rebuild especially as it sounds like one of the floats is sticking. I have a rebuild kit going cheap if you want one.....
